I'm pretty sure these are vultures, they were circling around the sky by the lake so I stopped my car to catch a few frames and was happy how they turned out. I really like the color from the sun flare in the top one.

Before leaving K-State for break I went on a photo/skating adventure around campus. I love going on walkabouts for photos and it's a great way to relax after a busy semester. This shot is of a fired up outdoor kiln.


I had worked my way into a bush to get a detail shot of the branches when all of a sudden a big flock of birds flew up and landed in the bush.
